Dr. Evans Duah
Dr. Evans Duah is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Business at the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED), focusing on Strategic Management, Finance and Entrepreneurship for BBA, MBA, MPhil, and MTech programs.
He is a French and English-trained business expert with over a decade of experience in banking, finance and business consultancy with experiences in France, Morocco and Ghana.
He is a 2022 Mandela Washington Fellow and the 2022 Most Influential Young Economist Sub- Saharan Africa by the Institute of Certified Chartered Economists (ICCE).
He is a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA, CIMA-UK and CGMA, AICPA-USA), a Chartered Accountant (ICA Ghana), a Chartered Investment Analyst (CGIA, USA), a Chartered Financial Economist (ICCE, USA), an expert in corporate governance (IoD Ghana and CILG USA).
He holds a Doctorate and an MPhil in Business Administration from Swiss Business School, Switzerland; an MBA and a BBA from ENCG-Agadir; Project Management and CSR EFMD CEL accredited Certificate, France; an EAP Certificate in Financing and Entrepreneurship from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA and Leadership in Business from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, USA.
As a former multiple award-winning banker with Société Générale Bank, he is also the CEO/Chief Consultant for Xtart Biz Consult, consulting for both private and public institutions and playing major roles in many business start-ups, merger-acquisition, fundraising, partnership, and feasibility studies. He is the Summit Director for the Ghana Investment Development Summit (GIDS). He is the author of the book “Intentional Wealth 2.0 – Building with The Pentagon Wealth Model”.
He is the Founder/President of the emerging think-tank and training centre, African Institute of Business and Leadership Excellence (AiBLE). He is a serial entrepreneur and a board member for some businesses in Ghana and Not-For-Profit in the USA.
Among his many volunteering and community engagements, he runs The Duah Mentoring (TDM) Club 100 Program, where yearly he mentors 100 young people who are between the ages of 18 years and 40years at no fees to them in business, personal finance, entrepreneurship, career guidance and leadership.
With his experience, exposure, and rich network, Dr. Duah has positioned himself as a strategist and a leading voice in the finance, banking, economics and entrepreneurial space in Africa and beyond. Dr. Duah is a family man with one wife and three sons.
