The Institute of Certified Chartered Economists (ICCE), together with its strategic partners has announced plans to host the 1st Global Economic Ideas Festival in India in November 2022.

The Global Economic Ideas Festival (GEIF) is the annual global conference hosted by the Institute of Certified Chartered Economists (ICCE).

The GEIF is set to bring together world leaders from sitting Presidents, executives of multilateral institutions, top economists, leading researchers, ministers of states, private sector business leaders, central bankers’ representatives from civil society organizations, academics and change leaders to drive conversations on how to shape the world economy.

According to the ICCE, “our aim is to bring to the limelight the fundamental, but yet overlooked hard questions of economic inquiry, with the hope of sparking new and constructive ideas to tackle and address the many economic challenges facing our world today.”

Dr. Frannie Leautier, former Vice President of the World Bank Group and currently the CEO & Partner at SouthBridge Investments is the Chairperson of the organizing committee for the GEIF 2022.
